If you like the taste of french fries, you'll love the spanish tortilla. When made correctly, the spanish tortilla is a delicious half-inch thick "cake" of fried potatoes mixed with fried eggs and onions. After cooking, the tortilla can be cut into pizza-like triangles to serve 4-6 people, or cut into squares to give a whole group a bite-sized toothpick sample. maytag parts

Bernice, Leave it to you to find my omissions. Thanks and excellent choices. There was another one I thought of STARTING OVER. I recall seeing it when I was in Los Anglese and it reminded me of home.

Craven's films

Hamilton, Nice choice of films. I agree having a distinctly regional filmmaker is a real asset to the New England. It's a much better voice than the cookie cutter Hollywood films. Have you checked out some of the local film festivals? They seem to be doing a good job of supporting local filmmakers. The upcoming New Hampshire Film Festival comes to mind.

My Favorite

I think Jay Craven's films, "Where the River Runs North" and his latest "Disappearances" are quite good. There are not big Hollywood productions, but he has found something unique about New England. I like it when a film shows you something new, maybe in a different light or perhaps, just small slice of life with a truth buried inside it. Whatever it is Craven is an under recognized artist.

And like the Bryds once

And like the Bryds once said, there is a season.

The Byrds? Well, yes, but it goes back a little farther. Just a little.

The Byrds covered a Pete Seeger song, and Pete Seeger, in turn, had set to music words from the Bible. The lyrics are adapted from Ecclesiastes, said to have been written by King Solomon. Whether you go back to Pete Seeger, the translators who produced the King James version of the Bible, the Greek translations they worked from or all the way back to the original Hebrew scripture, it wasn't something that Roger McGuinn et al. came up with.

As old King Sol also says in Ecclesiastes: There is nothing new under the sun.

this was an absolute waste of time to read. you did not answer how to beat a speeding ticket, but you explained how to kiss someones ass. explain loopholes to look for, or other stories of how people got out of a ticket.
