Here a few ideas to help get the juices flowing and come up with some killer ideas for mom.

Hey, if you have an idea as well, leave it. Sometimes we can use all the help we can get.

LAST MINUTE IDEAS
• Send an Ecard. This one ROCKS
• Gift certificates. The Frugal yankee isn't too keen on these but consider a certificate for a one day maid service or facial or even a spa. Find them on-line.
• Take her to a restaurant, but check reservations first. According to the National Rest. Assn., mom's day is the busiest day of the year for eateries.
• Our favorite, make something special (see some ideas below)
• Risky, but good. Buy jewelry.

For the PROUD MOMMA
• Write a poem or story on a special day you shared.
• Family Photo USB drive ($5-20)


For the STRESSED OUT MOM
• Breakfast in Bed
• Mini-Facial or Nails. ($45)
• NetFlix subscription ($$8 - six months)

For the GARDENING MOM
• Weed the garden, rake the yard.
• Basket with seed packets & work gloves. ($10-30)

For the FOODIE MAMA
• Bake a cake for her (or a pie, or cookies)
• High end box of chocolates ($40)
• Go out. Check out RESTAURANT.com for deals

For the ECO-MOME
• Reuseable grocery totes ($5)

For the CRAFTY MOM
• Scan family photos & Digital Photo Album
• Calligrapher's Set (under $20)
• Frame a Photo: Get a great photo of mom beautifully framed ($95)

For the TECHIE MOM
• Pocket Digital Photo Viewer/Key Chain
Like the photo album, but purse ready. ($35)
• Ear buds from her Mp3 Player ($5 to 20)

These are just a few ideas. There are tons more. Just step back and think about your mom. Who is she? What does she like? Once that's is figured out, the rest gets pretty easy.
